The City of Concordia City Hall houses the City Administration and City Police Departments. Normal administrative office hours are 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, open through noon. City Hall's primary responsibilities are record keeping and billing of city services, city management and accounting duties.
For customer convenience, a night deposit box is located at the entrance of the building and customers also have the option of an automatic payment of mothly water and sewer bills. At this time, the City of Concordia does not accept credit or debit card payments.
The following is a list and primary services available at City Hall.
Animal Control-Licensing of Dogs and Cats. Calls in reference to violations of animal control and impoundments.
Building Codes Official-Building permits and code inspections
City Administrator-Supervises operations of all city departments.
City Clerk-Maintains city records, ordinances, merchant, home occupation & liquor licenses, maps and voter registration.
City Collector-Tax billing and collection.
City Treasurer-Maintains billing for water, sewer and trash and serves as the chief accounting officer.
City Court Clerk- Prepares municipal court docket and processes municipal court judgements.
City Lake-Fishing and waterfowl permits. Shelter house reservation for Edwin A. Pape Lake.
City Parks-Reservation of shelter houses at Concordia Park and Central Park.
Solid Waste-Information concerning trash pick-up, lawn clippings disposal and volunteer recycling program.
Police-Concordia Police Department located in North portion of City Hall. |
